Strong Residents if you have any after hours roads emergency please call 705-840-0360. Make sure you leave a detailed message, with the road(s) location, along with your contact information. The after hours phone is regularly monitored and a call back to customers can be performed, once the emergency has been assigned to public works staff.

Almaguin Recycling Initiative (ARI)

2025 Household Hazmat Dates

May 24th and August 23rd from 10 am until 2 pm hosted by ARI at the Township of Strong Landfill Site1 - 483 Forest Lake Road, Sundridge. Please enter the Strong Landfill Site using Inlet Creek Road to dispose of hazmat items.

Do not exit your vehicle, other than to open your trunk if required for the volunteers to remove household hazardous items.
No loitering, please!
Collection is not permitted from any commercial or industrial entity!!
