Please be advised that all roads in the Township of Strong are now passable, South Lake Bernard Road at the Pool Lake outlet is open with one lane only until further notice.
The Public Works Department are continuing to do work, so we ask that you please use caution, adhere to signage and barriers, and watch out for staff and equipment.

The SSJ Recreation Committee is looking for entries for their Canada Day parade. Please sign up by June 25th at noon if you want to participate in the parade. Applications/waiver forms will not be accepted on parade day.
The SSJ Recreation Committee will be hosting a Canada Day Celebration on Saturday June 27th, parade starts at 4 pm, activities to follow the parade at the Sundridge waterfront area.

Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Corporation of the Township of Strong, in the District of Parry Sound of the period during which Nomination Papers may be filed in the above Office of the Clerk for the purpose of the Municipal Elections, commencing on Friday, May 1st, 2026 and will continue during normal office hours until the close of Nominations on Friday, August 21st, 2026 at the hour of 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
