The Township of Strong Municipal Office and Landfill Site 1 will be closed on Friday, April 3rd & Monday, April 6th for the Easter Holidays!

Please be advised the Council for the Township of Strong has approved a road closure by By-law for a portion of Municipal Lane as per a request from Bethel Church for their Easter Egg Hunt on April 5, 2026 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. 

Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Corporation of the Township of Strong, in the District of Parry Sound of the period during which Nomination Papers may be filed in the above Office of the Clerk for the purpose of the Municipal Elections, commencing on Friday, May 1st, 2026 and will continue during normal office hours until the close of Nominations on Friday, August 21st, 2026 at the hour of 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

Please be advised that the fire rating changes from April 1^st until October 31^st. A fire permit is required and there is NO daytime burning permitted!

Please be advised that the Township of Strong is implementing load restrictions and enforcing them on all Strong Township roads effective of Monday, March 9, 2026, when signs are in place.
