Road Emergencies

Strong Residents if you have any after hours roads emergency please call 705-840-0360. Make sure you leave a detailed message, with the road(s) location, along with your contact information. The after hours phone is regularly monitored and a call back to customers can be performed, once the emergency has been assigned to public works staff.

Seasonal Roads Application

The Township of Strong strictly prohibits anyone from performing maintenance on seasonal roads in the Townships jurisdiction. Anyone conducting maintenance on seasonal roads other than the Public Works Department will be held liable for all accidents and/or damages. If you wish to carry out maintenance on a seasonal road you must complete an application, along with Proof of Liability Insurance and WSIB Certification. All documentation must be submitted to the Township of Strong for approval. If you require the road names see the Seasonal Road By-laws.
