Participation in Co-operative Buying Group |
Notice of Participation in Cooperative Buying Group(s) This posting is a public notification that for the year 2021, the Township of Strong is a participating agency in one or more procurements conducted by the following cooperative buying group(s): 1. Muskoka Parry Sound Public Purchasing group (MPSPPG) – Bid opportunities will be posted on the tendering website of the public agency who is the lead on the respective procurement and may include www.biddingo.com and www.bidsandtenders.ca. 2. Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM) 3. Annual Posting of Enrolment to LAS/Canoe Procurement a. Local Authority Services (LAS) 4. Ministry of Government Services (MGS) 5. Canadian Collaborative Procurement Inituative (CCPI) 6. Kinetic GPO As these buying groups have essentially secured competitive pricing via their established procurement methods, the Township may choose to access goods or services via this method. A purchase that may exceed the thresholds as set in Procurement By-law 2021-012, will have a Council approval via a recorded vote and resolution. |
