Planning, as a division of Administrative Services, provides information and advice to Council, the general public, and provides guidance for the development of the municipality, with respect to land use planning including the Township's Official Plan and Zoning By-law. 

Planning is responsible for both short term and long range planning within the Township which includes the processing of official plan and zoning by-law amendments, site plan approvals, plans of subdivision and condominiums, applications to purchase shore and concession road allowances and provides staff support to the Committee of Adjustment.

We would recommend that those who wish to inquire about zoning information or planning applications must make an appointment with the Clerk Administrator or Deputy Clerk, or send the request for information by email.  Please be prepared to provide as much information about the property(s) in question, as well as any drawings or measurements.
